Jade Marlin Mentorship Program

The Jade Marlin Mentorship Program connects youth and adults with experienced professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who provide guidance, support, and career development opportunities.

Jade Marlin Foundation Fashion Scholarship Program

The Jade Marlin Foundation Fashion Scholarship Program supports young men and women interested in pursuing careers within the fashion industry.

The scholarship program seeks to increase diversity in fashion and provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education in fashion-related fields.

Purpose

  • Increase the number of future fashion professionals entering the workforce.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion within the fashion industry.
  • Provide financial support to help offset educational expenses.
  • Establish relationships with emerging fashion leaders.

Award Amount

  • For 2027, four (4) scholarships of $250 each will be awarded.
  • Awards will be distributed during the early fall and late winter. Application deadlines will be announced on the Foundation website at least two months before submission deadlines.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be legal residents of Los Angeles County, California.
  • Be at least 17 years of age at the time of application.
  • Meet all scholarship requirements.

Application Requirements

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship.
  • Proof of Los Angeles County residency.
  • Proof of full-time enrollment in an accredited higher education institution, including:
  • Community College
  • Four-Year College or Universit
  • Private Institution
  • Essay (100 words or less):
  • Explain how receiving the scholarship will benefit your career plans.
  • Describe the importance of support in helping you pursue your career goals.

Award Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by the Foundation Review Committee.

Due to limited funding, only fully completed applications that meet all eligibility requirements will be considered. Awards will be
evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure fairness and equal opportunity.
